Hongwei is a co-founder and CEO of GeoNDT Inc., the University of Manitoba spinoff company in Canada. He received his Msc (2016) and currently is a Ph.D candidate in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Manitoba. His research focuses on developing innovative solutions for non-destructive testings in geotechnical engineering (e.g., Bender element test, Ultraosnic test, Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves, and Falling weight deflectometer test).
